running stable 1ohm at .5 ???

I have a fi ssd 12 d1 now in my boat powered by my old kicker zr360 that puts out 725rms at 2ohms and i think my sub can take more, so i have a kicker kx1200. 1 but what do you think about running my kx at .5 ??

Or if you have any idea im willing to buy anoter amp!

Ok no problem with that but i need more power, my old zr beat the kx at 2ohms!

So i need a new amp!
