Running speaker wire with Power???

One thing though, with some installs with RCA directly over/running with PWR, interference is not an issue. You cannot get a direct answer, so I would run everything and take a listen while the carpet is still up, and if you're having problems, then move it, if not then finalize it and be done.

there are some highly respected opinions in the industry that believe pwr/signal interference is a myth, and electromagnetic theory supports it.

It is actually fairly common to run pwr/signal/speaker/remote wires all in the same bundle.

Regarding speaker wire specifically - Magnetic fields are created by current. Speaker wires are much lower current than power wires and the magnetic field they generate is just not strong enough to be a concern.
