running jl audio 500/1 at 1 ohm?

is it possible to run a jl audio 500/1 at 1 ohm? i know it says it will put 500 rms at 1.5-4 ohms, im just wondering if i could run it at one ohm with any problems? thanks for the help
If it's a benign load (ie. not reactive) you won't have a problem. Specs from quality companies are geared to cover all contingencies, including the worst possible scenario.

I ran mine at 1 for a little bit and it would suprise the hell out of people only having a 500 watt amp but it would get hott so stay at 1.5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
