Its basically a mini exreme car. No interior panels, almost no dash, flat windshiled. All the things that make a great SPL car

either way it should not be allowed to compete in finals if it cant be used at any other event. and if it can be used at finals it should be allowed to compete at any other event. shouldnt make exceptions.

Finals is a WORLD EVENT! Cars from all over the WORLD are invited to go. And for those who don't know what a panda is or what it is for....Why are you posting in a topic that you know nothing about? This is why I don't come on here or post often. Half of the threads on here are useless babble from people who have no idea what they are talking about. 97cavy, you are one of the few in this thread who have any idea of what's going on. Pandas are one of the loudest cars for DB Drag street classes. The fact that they have no back seat (that means you can build all the way to the b pillar), the windshield, the interior and quite a few other reasons they are louder than a CRX. Yes, CRXs will get loud, a panda will get louder!!! No questions, no arguments. Look at the DB Drag street records....all pandas. There is a reason all the United States guys ***** about them.... They are louder and they can't get them.

wow...someone needs to wipe the sand out of their panties. This is a forum...if you can't handle the noobs, then its YOU that needs to leave. Some people are complete fukks...i'll give you that, but others are here to learn and to do that they must ask questions.

Pandas DO have a backseat, but the vehicle is just perfect for SPL as far as street and street max (they have a terra, which has a panda front end, and a cargo like van rear end that is good for street max)

They arent "bending the rule". People can travel to other countries to get points. Someone CANT ship them your vehicle and you run it, thats against the rules. I can take MY car and compete in ANY country I want.

Im still trying to see where your seeing a "exemption" to the rule? Sounds pretty clean cut to me

and would want one for competition purposes. and i do not belive u can register it here but it can be registered in canada,england, EUROPE

Nope, that dash is ALOT different. The fiats are close, but not near. The interior, dash, and glass are a bit different

Correct me if Im wrong, but arent dash's usually so customised in the top classes that the difference could be easily dealt with?

It seems silly to the point of psychosis:crazy: to go to the legal trouble (and extreme expense) just to import something so similar to whats already here if people would look.

They are good for S and SM, the dash has to be stock.
