ahhh...that makes sense. i knew they were running a panda tho. They were from Trinadad or however ya spell it
I think that info is wrong. Cause he said has to be registered in the US. Which would make all Canada cars illegal for events in the US
The cars must be street legal.Didnt find that anywhere in the rule book.I looked in 06 and 07 rules. I may have missed it somewhere. Nothing about registered.Only thing I could find is this.
Section 4 Vehicle Regulations
The vehicle must be driven into and out of the judging lanes.
Additional Guidelines:
* The vehicle's motor must be used to propel the vehicle into and out of the judging lanes. (Starter motors, etc. may not be used as a means of propulsion.)
Exception:
* Some events may prohibit the operation of motor vehicles. In situations such as this, or when safety is an issue, compliance with this rule is waived.
so the car they took to finals was street legal????The cars must be street legal.
and trust me this isn't the first time this has happened...you aren't the first to think about it. Wayne has addressed this before and I believe he made it clear that it wouldn't be worth your while to do it.
Whats so special about the panda?
