Running a Panda in the US

ive always wondered if somoene in england could bring a panda over here and run it in DB Drag??? say they just leave it here in the U.S. but it is insured and plated over there. which would make it street legal over there.

Not legal in the us due to safety standards and such. Could not be registered here. It would have to be run where it is legal to title and pass safety standards and points collected there. It has been done in Canada and someone ran one last year I think up there. There is supposed to be a loop hole in the registration laws regarding "show" vehicles or "collectible" cars that could get it in though.

I remember bout 4 years ago when we talked about it...

It's just QUITE expensive... not necessarily worth it.

If it's not registered in the us it's not allowed at shows in the us. If it is registered in another country points must be acured in that country. It can be brought to finals in the us, but not for normal shows unless it is registered here. Check termpro for all your answers. If it was that easy there would be a ton of them here already. I know of three people with them sitting in canada trying to figure out how you can do it here. The answer is go to cananda and get your points and bring it here for finals. Other wise there is still the loop hole for registering it here. If you don't want to believe me, waste your money and get dq'd, not my problem, just telling you what I know.
