Running a negative wire to ur rear battery instead of going through the chassis?

im not 100% on it but im pretty sure it will help with the voltage drops; but not much at all; unless your chassis ground is really bad. but the negative post on batt is the ideal grounding spot...

not to jack your post; well kinda; if i add a batt in the trunk; grounding that batt to the chassis instead of neg post on front batt; would that work; or just be pointless?

There is a certain point when the size of your power wire will be large enough that it is a more efficient conductor than your chassis. This will depend on the vehicle you have, the condition it is in, and the power wire you are using.

There is no specific point as to when these conditions will line up, and it is highly debated on this forum.

I personally would do front to back runs of + and - on anything 1/0 or larger.
