running 1/0 awg wire

I'm thinking of running 2 runs (positive and negative) of 1/0awg wire from my battery to my amp in the trunk. My amp can only take 4 awg or smaller wire so what are my options for going from 1/0 to 4? A 1/0 awg wire from the negative of the battery would be a better ground for my amp than say somewhere in my trunk.

just use a d-block if you plan on adding on later. reducers are more cost effective as d-blocks cost more. and they take up more space and i dont think i have found any that i think look good, ecspecially with only one wire coming out

 
Ok I will look at some d-blocks. Was I right about a 1/0 awg wire from the battery negative would be better than a 4 awg wire grounded to the trunk.

From what I see it is debatable wether or not a 1/0 awg wire directly to amp from negative battery post is better than a 4 awq wire grounded in the trunk. Their isn't really a good grounding spot in my trunk thats why im thinking of doing this. Opinions...

Id only do a run a negative wire if i owned a unibody. One thing you could do is take a DMM and measure the resistance of the car vs. a run of wire.
