Ok so i a Rockford Fosgate 15" Punch HE sub. It was in a ported enclosure but it sounded like total crap because the port wasnt built right. So i cut a piece of mdf and screwed it in to where the port used to be. Sealed it all up made sure there was no air leaks etc. and it actually sounded decent and still got loud.
But i have some about 4 ft of 2 inch pvc pip laying around, so I though maybe i could make the box ported again. I would like to tune around 33 htz and i would like to have dual ports. And remember this box was originally built ported so the specs are all the same except for the ports.
Ok so I would like to know how long to cut the port to get that tuning frequency. This is all in my room and the sub is powered by my receiver. Im not really worried about the high tuning frequency as this will mostly be for music and im looking for spl more than sq. Ill also be sure to post pics of the build and I will take vids of the finished box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Thanks
