I wouldnt weld to the body unless you get a pro welder to do it. I know I'd warp it some/ruin the paint trying to get good penetration at that angle.

Load that roof down with an *** load of sound deadener. I'm talking get 80 square feet and put it up.

well ihave about 60 sq feet of raammat at my disposal...i dunno if i wanna use it all there.but if i did you guys think it might help? i just dont see a few small layers of that to keep it from flexingthe way it it......i mean it needs reenforcment.....

Epoxie Weld from JB weld specifically designed for adhearing to metal.

If you really want it to stop, go get some 2" wide 1/4" thick ribs made for your roof (steel and bent/streched to your roof) JB-Weld them to the roof then put that 60sqft of RAAMatt up there.
