well if you think about it, its their job to try to keep you with em. I worked Customer Service before, best thing to do is this. 1.) tell them you want to cancel it. If they rebuttle with we'll upgrade your service or get you another deal/package cheaper. then you move on to 2.) tell them that you recorded this call earlier and you allready said to them you want it canceled. If their still persistent, ask them to talk to a manager or supervisor and you mean business. that will work =D

i had to go through all that same **** after cancelling my free trial, then the bastards call me back like last week telling me about a new service.
