I can get one for 160$. Its 1x 800rms @ 4ohm.

Is this thing underrated? Will it work on my L7 (1000rms)?

and rf amps aren't really underrated at all. more overrated (except old school rf amps)

He's talking about the old fish gill rf punch series...those were dumb underrated.

I actually had two 801s in my possession, last series. One birth sheet said 987 @ 14.1v and the other said like 1070 @ 14.4v

So yes, they're underrated and can power you're L7 if you power them right.

Hooked it up...

MUCH cleaner than my hifonics, doesn't smell like shit, more solid hits, ect.. Hits alot more notes. The only downside when it dips into the lows not as much "shaky bass", but I've only found a few songs that do that. I accualy think the crossover is too high (80-90hz).

Other than that it is running at 4 ohms and really really moving that sub.

I wonder what this thing is puttin out.
