Ok i CANNOT decide what amp(s) to go with for 2 18" MT's (dual 1.4's). I don't want to go over 3k RMS just because my electrical at the moment won't support it. I know the MT's will take waaay more power then 1500 per sub, but it is out of the question at the moment, so don't say 2 Orion 2500d's or something.

I was thinking (2) Hifonics BXI1606d's, maybe 2 PA a3000db's at .7 each. Maybe this new Hifonics "Thor" amp that is out, supposed to do around 3k at 1 ohm. Maybe a Viper 2500d, or a Visonik 4000d If I am lucky.

I know I kind of made a thread about this earlier but I want to hurry up and get this done! Thanks guys.

You could get a Powerbass XA-3000D, I own one and they are solid. 3kw RMS @ 1ohm, .5 ohm stable daily and .25 ohm stable for burps. There are like 10 of them up for sale right now for under $400 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just get one high power amp and run one mt right now....

Then upgrade your electrical to the point where you can run both huge amps.....

It will save you money in the end.

Who the hell needs two 18" MTs for daily anyway? Is this daily?

Yeah it is daily, I have 1 MT right now that had 2500 watts on it until one amp fried. I just want to build something insane for some reason.

ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I think I may be the voice of reason...

Wait, save money, and then buy the proper (in your head) set-up as far as amplifiers go, that way you get what you want, what can support it, and only have to buy one/one pair of amps, ONCE. Sound good?

i say just run one with good power. there isn't really any point to have two underpowered subs vs. one properly powered sub. two is just going to take up a bunch of room, and mock you with the potential to get loud. seriously, MT's will literally laugh out loud at you if you even joke about giving them 1500 a piece.

You could probably get the single MT louder with the right power, than two half-assed powered MTs.

x2.

If you cant get a single MT loud enough for you, somethings wrong.

Plus the wow factor of a loud as fvck single sub setup is cool.
