i just bought this amp off a buddy off mine and he says it 900 watts, so i believed him. then i get and bring it home and looked up the specs on and it says its a 300 watt amp mono block. you think maybe this amp is underated?

ya most of RF amps are. my T10001BD is said to be a 1000 watt amp, but on my birth sheet it has a total RMS of 1588

It should do a tad under 900,like 350 to 375
