like i think i know what it mean like it can pound all day at the RMS all i want is the biggest sysetem in my school. either i wnat to get two Infinitys Refrences or two Punch HX2 but i can afford the infinitys but not the HX2s..... i already had two infinitys they pound like no other i like them alot but i want to try something else but if i buy the HX2s im going to buy a new box......I want to enter compitions the infinitys 92 spl and the HX2 have like 88 spl do you think the infinitys will hit harder

That spl rating doesnt mean jack crap it is so i have been told what the subs hit with the least amount of watts or something anyway it isnt important. RMS is the recommended amount of watts to send the sub for longest lasting and best performance it is what you go by to decide what you want to give your subs. Stay away from paying any attention to the peak too. Infinity I dont no about the lower lines but if i got infinity it would be the perfects but I know money is the key to everything and punch hx2's are **** good subs so I would go with them but look into Alpine type R's and S's or JL W3's. Save a little money and get the best stuff you can dont go out and buy the references without a little research. What do you want in a sub sq(sound quality) or spl (sound pressure level) which means bass. I wanted a good spl sub with great sq so I got alpine type R's.
