RMS Question

well in general no because usually any speaker can take a lil over its rms rating. the key here is just watch the gains and you'll be fine. usually its always better to have overhead because that means if you watch your gains and what not, your amp won't have to work as hard.

well what is the amp and woofer combo if the woofer is a legacy, pyle, entry level power acoustik or any of that kind then it depends on amp if its a cheap amp like pyramid, legacy, pyle youd be ok except watch out for clipping cause that will kill a vc fast so i hope i helped

I am getting the audiobahn 800W mono intake series and I havent quite figured out the sub... It's either going to be the 1200w poweracoustik or the Volgenhag or watever.

The Audiobahn is a pretty good amp. What sub were you looking at again, I know it was the Volfenhag but forgot the other?
ummm... it's a pretty cheap poweracoustik with good looking stats

Just did some research on the sub, I have never seen that one before nor have I heard anything about it. I would strongly recommend an Alpine sub. There is a couple on ebay right now. Those subs with the right box will sound awesome. I had a friend who had some power akoustic 12"s and they did sound good I just dont remember what model they were.

They are a bit more expensive, but IMO worth every penny. I really cant give my opinion on the sub you want because I have never heard of it. You should be fine with what you want. The A8000T is a fairly good amp for the price, (I wish they were this cheap when I bought my 3.) You should be good with the package just be sure to watch you gains on the amp since you will be overpowering a bit.

Yeah, and if it turns out to be a piece of junk, then I can still have enough money to get a different one. It's pretty low price, makes me kinda leary... I know Power Acoustik is a pretty decent brand, but there's just something about that price.
