RMS doubt

I bought BOSS CX122 subwoofer which is 700 watts RMS because my Amp was 800 watts, but then I see that 800 watts is the peak but the RMS is 300 watts, I have another Amp that is 400 RMS watts, does running a 700 RMS sub with 400 RMS amp, my amp will get any damage?

My Amps:

CX600 | Boss Audio Systems

and

CX650 | Boss Audio Systems

Subwoofer:

CX122 | Boss Audio Systems

Maybe change it for:

CX12 | Boss Audio Systems

You're fine. That sub won't hold 800rms as it is over rated same as the amps are.

They'll work greatly together since theyre both junk. Let me give you some advice... stay away from boss. But to answer your question, itll be fine.

Just look around here for a bit and do some reading. Then when ever you are ready for an upgrade, post on here when you are and try and get some help with what options you have with in your budget.
