I recently blow my amp and plan buying a Kenwood KAC-9103D. Sub is a Type R-12-Dual 4. Enclosure is 1 cube sealed. RMS for this amp at 2 ohm is 900. Will my sub be ok? Will be seeing lots of use.

Option # 2 is the Kenwood eXcelon KAC-X10D 2 = 2 ohm 600 RMS. (Both are around the same price)

Any comments or suggestions much appreciated.

sub shold be fine i got 2 12's that push 800 rms that r gettin 1200 rms

set ur gains right and u shold be fine

my luck with kenwood and alpine together hasnt been good tho

doestn seem like they get along lol

i would get the bigger amp, since you are going sealed the sub can prolly take the extra power as long as its clean. just dont go crazy on the gain. better too much than not enough power.

r u set on buying only kenwood? if not what is your price range?
