I had mine in 2.1 sealed, but it was getting close to 1000. More than enough output in a trunk vehicle. I wish I still had it at times.
i had that amp back in the day, i clamped at @1 ohm and got 414 actual watts. weird:verymad: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif :verymad: . I did have a nasty box rise though
It's too bad that the whole post was ripped off from a student who did that as his paper for first year engineering (iirc) and zero credit was given for it. It was awfully familiar until I read the bit about using a sand bag (or your daughter) on a swing, when it immediately rang a bell.
so youre going sealed in order to look cool by having more excursion?
It did in my set up. A few guys at work are also into car audio and have heard my set up many time. I switched to 35Hz and heard the diff right away. I told the guys at work I built new boxes, so have a listen. Didn't tell them about tuning change or anything. All 3 said the same thing, doesn't seem to hit as low or hard.I seriously hope that you don't think that changing from a 35 hz tuning to a 32 hz tuning makes a significant difference...
