Hey yall,

I heard that Re Se's can take 2000w each daily no problem. Is that true. I was thinking about putting 2000-3000 watts to a pair of 12's. I know they are only rated 600w rms but several different people told me they can take a lot of power. Accualy the first person said they can take 2000w each!. Thank you guys for your help Im intersted to hear your opinions.

they CAN take that much power but it's not going to last, not for daily. Tommy Mckinnie who has the 24SE's in his truck runs like over 1000 watts to em and blows them constantly at competitions.

SE's are|were dual 4, so your final load will either be 1 ohm or 4 ohm.

I gave my SE 12's right at 600 RMS and they sounded great. For daily you should be fine with 1000w 'cause your subs will rarely see it.
