RL-P15's or AA Arsenal 15's

Actually I don't know anyone who has had either sub, and in San Diego there's a lot people that just have mainstream subs. The arsenals being more efficient means they can get louder easier with less power right? Right now I'm just looking for any reason to choose one over the other, I think they're both badass looking and now I'm starting to like the black face. Does the RL-P have an aluminum face on it?
This might be the kicker your looking for... The surface of the Arsenal is prob better if your not as careful. The alum. face on the RL-P can get dinged easily.

You could buy direct from TC Sounds as well. I own two TC2+'s (RL-i's) and they are quite impressive for the $145 retail tag (I paid $95 each new). I'm sending about 350-400w to each and they are in a 3cu ft sealed box...

I'd go with TC Sounds subs, nice build quality, real purdy cones, and if you buy from SS you get kickass customer service.

If you live in SD, you're more than welcome to stop by TC sounds and see where the goods get made //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

On a 1w/1m basis, the 15" Rl-p's actually have a higher sensitivity.

But the small difference in efficiency alone isn't going to make any kind of noticeable difference in performance.

The Rl-p also has slightly more displacement potential than the Arsenal, so it will have slightly more output.

Right now I'm just looking for any reason to choose one over the other,

Support a company worth supporting.

Yes, it's aluminum.

yeah Mike is a great guy to deal with..... good product prices and cs you can't beat that.

if AA could step up their game it would be a toss up, they gave me good CS but i've heard bad, I'd go with Mike

there was very good communication between me and dale/chad. picked up the phones whenever i called and actually called me back when they said they would. i was very lucky and got the last arsenal they had in stock for the presale price.

****it now I have another option in TC subs. I'll have to go to TC Sounds and see what they have for around the same price, I think their subs are a little pricier though. Thanks for the input guys.

We have tons of used prototypes for sale too, We have to get rid of em.. very good stuff too.

Its really hard to tell which will be better, as most havent dealt with both. The Arsenal is the upgrade to the Ava FYI....Not many own arsenals, but plenty have/had owned Avas....
See if you can find a comparison between an Ava and RL-P...
yeah, according to their marketing.... Anyway, I'd go with the RL-P. Ascendant audio has had a fairly shady record recently.

No they havent.....that was like so a few months ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Lately though they've been fine....customer service has been good to me...Not as bad as Eduh.....gosh I hate how they run their forum....

squeak is anti-AA so just ignore him (but i'm a SS groupie too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

i definitely would NOT say that the arsenal is a step up from the avalanche. in fact i find it to be a step DOWN. in any case, i really don't think the arsenal can touch the rl-p in all out performance and potential. as carguy said above, the AVA is definitely on the level of the RL-P...

TEE SEE NINE-A FO LYFE!!
