You're entitled to your opinion.check the results from the great 12" subwoofer challenge, I think we had one there and i thought it sucked,
Mine wasn't built cheaply and didn't perform cheaply.it looks cheap too,
I'm not even sure what that means.they do overheat also if iy was the same woofer.
The Rl-p definitely does not fall into the "not worth a shit" category.I don't tend to keep up with products that aren't worth a shite.
Not "small" sealed.I thought they worked well in small sealed...but might work better in ported?
From a sheer output perspective I would agree. They weren't designed for pure-SPL appications. So if that's your ONLY goal...yeah, I would look elsewhere.i agree, and its probably because i'm a bass head, but i'm just saying that if you are just looking for spl, theres probably other better performing subs out there for the money,
you could get 2 rsd's for the price of a x...everyone that has owned the x can't stop raving about how low it goes...but i'd imagine two rsd's with 2g's rms on them would wang harder...from what pg fanatics say anyways...It just seems to me for the money you could get an Alpine type-x. I really want to try em, it just seems like with PG sd12d and Xs its a rough compairson.
