4ft^3 sealed? 4ft^3 ported?

it didn't do great in 2.5ft^3 tuned to 30 hz which is re recommended...so why is it going to do better in 4ft^3 ported?

if sealed..i believe ya...it does need bigger boxes..

monster????? only in weight.....it's not the most impressive sub i've ever heard or owned. actually, memphis pr subs are the most impressive subs i've heard. and owned. will they keep with a xxx? not one on one..but for the price, i can get 10 10" pr's and push them off the same power and guess who'd going to win?

while the xxx is a fine sub..it's no monster and it's not the greatest of all time. as a matter of fact, it can be beat one on one..and i'm not talking about the rl-p either...

and if one 12 has to have 4ft^3 to do what's it's supposed to do..i'm not buying it.

unless it's an all out spl sub and i'm after tenths on a meter...

an 18xxx would indeed be an impressive sight...lol..and i have no doubts that it is one of the best sounding 18's on the market. but the box would be massive..lol..as massive as the sub!!

12" vs a 12" ? usually you get real good results at about 2.25 cft with a solo 12 as far as sq goes. in fact i would go as far as saying its pretty impactful musical and doesnt go woosh woosh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
