So, in all of the enclosures you tried, which was your favorite for the SS sub? which was the best SQ/SPL combination enclosure, and which was the best sq enclosure overall for the SS sub TO YOU? thanks again

i forgot to grab the 1.25ft^3 sealed box...oops..i'll grab it tomorrow..

squeak..IB? i would, but i'm not taking my life in my own hands touching my wife's sub again..yes, she has assumed ownership of the rl-p...says i own enough subs that i can spare one..lol...

4ft^3 sealed?? wow, that's huge..lol...sorry. i don't want to build that big of a sealed box and not be able to get rid of it. and i don't know of any prefab 4ft^3 sealed either..

put 2500wrms on the xxx today..

it don't like it!! not in 1.9ft^3 tuned to 34hz...don't get me wrong, it can handle it at lower volumes, but crank the knob..lol...and bam,bam instead of boom,boom..

still, it's a pretty decent sub...but it does have it's limits.

also, i put the xxx in 1.3ft^3 sealed prefab today as well off 1200wrms..it doesn't play lower. it does get louder. i'd imagine it needs at least 1.75ft^3 sealed to really get low..or ported, where it does indeed do a fine job!

and with that....the review/comparo is done..lol....
