hey guys I got a question on Ring terminals vs battery terminals. and yes I did use the //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/search.gif.e79a63b2b580b39b282dff402646b704.gif button... My question is if i'm just gonna be running 1x 4 awg wire to a distro block to 2 8 awg wires, no big 3 planned, would a ring terminal work just fine? Or would a battery terminal be better. Or are they just for if you got multiple high gauge wires coming out of your + post?

its a top mount, but waht I meen is do I need 1 in my particular application. Im not going to do a big 3, so I am just wondering if you get better power flow or something from a battery terminal verse a ring terminal.

dont want to do the big 3 and I dont think I need it unless I get a new alt or new bat. And anyways if I was going to do the big 3 I would at least get a new bat first.

the big three isnt dependent on a new electrical component being introduced to your system. the big 3 on its on is very helpful in facilitating electical flow.

They make sleeves that go over the battery terminal to increase its size.
