I say wait till income tax time and get your tires then. Just wait till you curb check them rims or pop a tire. Sorry just really don't think rims are worth that much money,but to each his own.

i hate alloy I like the way chrome brings a car out more

Wait for your tires. It will be winter soon and you will probally take your rims off like msot people for the winter anyways. You don't want the salt on the roads and stuff to eat them up and stuff. All depending on where you live.( I didn't look)

Yeah I got to the end of my message and realized I forgot to see where he lives. $1700 is normal for some tires really, low profile tires cost you a lot of money. A main reasons ome people don't get rims. Good deal on the rims possibly when you get a find, but tires are gonna cost you out the ***.

January is only a couple months away, so its really jsut whatever you would perfer at the time.

Why not just keep both and save for the rest? CAuse its gonna be harder to save up for 24's again after you have 0 dollars and spending it all on your system. Just wait a little longer and finish it gradually.

Seriously, If you don't have money for tires. You should not have bought the rims. If and when you blow a tire, you're going to need the money right then. Do you plan on putting the stocks back on when you get a flat? You really need to be financially set before going baller on your car.

IMO system>rims. Because music is a great part of my life's enjoyment.

$1,700 isn't much considering I need size: 305/35/24 tires. At local stores around here they sell for $2,000 a set.

I think im just gonna chill with the system I have for now and save the money I got for the tires. Since my system isn't a bad system as it is right now, I decided to save the money for tires. Anybody think I made a bad decision?

24" rims: sacrafice ride quality, alter speedometer, and attract more attention to your truck.

system: nothing but positive results as long you install it right. prob the best investment you can do to your vehicle if you love music

I have had a set of 24" rims just sitting in my room for months now because I havent gotten around to buy them some tires. Ive invested most of my money into car audio therefor I have none for 24" tires. Now I realize that if I sell most of my car audio stuff (subs and amp + money i have saved) I will have enough to buy me a set of tires ($1,699). I was wondering if I should sell my system for now, have no system but have a set of 24" rims, and buy a new system in January. Or if I should do it the other way around...keep on investing money into the system and have a really loud system and then invest in tires around January even though ive had these sitting around for months already. What would you do? Don't tell me to sell them because thats a no.

x2.............look on www.superbuytires.com you can get some 22's and tires at a reall good deal probly

no superbuytires.com is the most expensive site on the net. try tirerack.com. I say that u get to a point where u are comfortable with ur system. then save up for the tires. cus lets say that u get ur tires then 2 weeks later u get a nail in them. NOw u need a new tire. But u cannor afford it. So u now u are back at square one.....oh plz belive that this can happened. It happened to me.
