I've been having some strange probs with my system. For the last 2 weeks, my right channel (right side speakers and right side sub) have not worked at all. I could fade the deck all the way to the right and got nothing. Now tonite, my right channel is there but very faint. What gives? Bad right channel in my deck? My setup is an Alpine 9835 goin to a PG Ti600.2 for me fronts, and a PG amp for my subs.

try new rca's, it just sound like your rca's are bad. actually switch them in reverse at the amp. so put your left rca in the right and your right rca in the left and see if it changes the side that mess's up. if so just snatch some new rca's.

Ok, so after more looking, I noticed that my PG Ti amp has a glowing red light on it. Looking at the owners manual, this is what the illuminated red light means: Overload.

Total Speaker impendance too low causing excessive output current

Exposed copper from speaker touching the vehicle chassis

Speaker cables or tinsels touching eachother

Damaged speaker voice coil or passive crossover components,

How do i diagnose if the speaker is damaged?? I can check for cut wires and such, no prob. Looks like i got some work ahead of me! Whats weird to, when i mess with the freq, the right speakers 'crackle' or sound like they wanna kick in, but dont. Any thoughts on that?
