rewire HT Sub

i used to have this for my surround sound but recently bought a pioneer 918v

since the speakers and sub are still working fine how can i rewire the sub to be used with my pioneer,, on the jvc unit it had a cable that hooked the sub to the reciever and thats how the audio was processed. now with the pioneer it has a sub output. is there a way of making this work or am i wasting my time?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
