Hawker Mil PCM545MJ
I picked up (4) of these Hawker batts from Michaellane with the hopes of adding some power to my daily driver while still maintaining space. After some back and forth talk I decided these would fit the bill and I pulled the trigger.
Michaellane shipped them very fast and they where very well packed. He also communicated very well throughout the process.
First impression: These batts are tiny 7w 3d 5h, but heavy. The package of 4 was around 50-55lbs. Heft is always a good thing when it comes to batteries. Also I was reading up on thesenthey made by odyssey and use virgin lead just like Northstar and XS Power.
So after unpacking it was time to load test these bad boys and see what kind of juice I could run with them as secondary batts. I didnt charge them up before the tests but i was very shocked at what they could do
1 batt held a 70amp load for 30secs and only dropped from 12.5 to 11.7
So basically it took a 700watt burp and didnt even drop a full volt for 30secs. On music i have no doubt it would hold up no problem.
After hooking up all 4 took a 250amp load with no sweat started at 12.5 dropped 11.5
I have no doubt that 4 of these ran in parallel will hold up to any 2k-3k setup with ease if used as secondary batteries. Very strong batts, very small footprint, Very happy with my purchase.
I put these in my impala and my voltage is holding strong 13.7 full tilt
Stock alt (130amp)
