Hawker Mil PCM545MJ

I picked up (4) of these Hawker batts from Michaellane with the hopes of adding some power to my daily driver while still maintaining space. After some back and forth talk I decided these would fit the bill and I pulled the trigger.

Michaellane shipped them very fast and they where very well packed. He also communicated very well throughout the process.

First impression: These batts are tiny 7w 3d 5h, but heavy. The package of 4 was around 50-55lbs. Heft is always a good thing when it comes to batteries. Also I was reading up on thesenthey made by odyssey and use virgin lead just like Northstar and XS Power.

So after unpacking it was time to load test these bad boys and see what kind of juice I could run with them as secondary batts. I didnt charge them up before the tests but i was very shocked at what they could do

1 batt held a 70amp load for 30secs and only dropped from 12.5 to 11.7

So basically it took a 700watt burp and didnt even drop a full volt for 30secs. On music i have no doubt it would hold up no problem.

After hooking up all 4 took a 250amp load with no sweat started at 12.5 dropped 11.5

I have no doubt that 4 of these ran in parallel will hold up to any 2k-3k setup with ease if used as secondary batteries. Very strong batts, very small footprint, Very happy with my purchase.

I put these in my impala and my voltage is holding strong 13.7 full tilt

Stock alt (130amp)

Good write up. I was thinking about buying a few off him. Might see if he has anymore left, mike is a good dude vouch all day for him.

Home depot? U want a pair ? I will send you some
What's the biggest wire they can fit? I'm not sure if we have a Home depot around here. Just Lowes and Menards

Are there any copper ones that would fit 4/0 welding cable?

Only set-screw lugs I saw at Lowes were Aluminum, and they only fit 1/0 welding cable (or 4 gauge car audio wire)

You don't have to send me any, although I appreciate the offer. Just curious

That's an awesome deal^
Well I have access to 60 or more I believe and im keeping 12 or 15 for myself. The rest are going up for sale. Im going to do a small purchase first and see how they do. Booms is the only one who bought any. I dont get it??? Multiple batts is way better than a single big batt but these things never sold up here. I mean they are virgin lead just like Northstar. These thing retail for over $120 each and thats not the military grade batts. These things are designed for being beat up. Anyway long story short im running these in my own car.

How much are they?
120 for 4 shipped
