I'm pretty sure some of you use this but for those that have not

Its basically a 13 band parametric Equalizer with Q factor settings and full on crossover settings. If done right, even sh*tty laptop speakers can actually sound almost presentable. Any annoying frequencies can be cut, some lacking frequencies can be raised a slight bit to even out the response and you can choose any frequencies from 10hz to 20khz

After installing it you'll want to download this Extension to upgrade the GUI to control things a lot easier than the stock GUI menu.

To properly install it, cut and paste that downloaded file into the config folder of the location wherer where you've installed equalizer apo. so if you installed it in

C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\

Then go to there and hit up the config folder and paste the peace GUI download in there.


Needless to say, If you have no means of equalization or if you are stuck with window's stock EQ, this will bring your sound to a whole new level. Breathe life into your depressing system.

I use Virtual Audio cables with VSTHost and some other plugins.
