Resources for sub building?

Does anyone have any links to resources for sub building or reconing? Googled for quite a while and couldn't find anything.

Also looking for sites that would sell parts like baskets, recones, and epoxy.

If a motor gets scratched up by a blown coil, is it still good? does it need to be resurfaced?

good luck. best bet is to get in with a buildhouse. mcmaster car will sell you the epoxy.

Depends how bad. It would be pretty hard for a coil, largely made of softer metals, to do much "serious" damage to the steel motor parts.
