Resistor making headunit malfunction?

Could a resistor make my cd player malfunction? Its the Accessory wire .. on my 780MP ..

Anyone ? well .. i brought my car by my workplace and had one of the installers look at it .. and he said that my headunit isnt receiving enough Acc. power? does anyone know if the resistor on the wire covered by the black plastic casing could be replaced? Has anyone ever tried doing this?

That's not a resistor. It's a noise choke. There might be a fuse in there as well, replace it. Check your fuse panel as well.

The installer at my workplace checked all the fuses in my car .. he said that wire isnt receiving enough power for the acc .. can u just remove that "noise choke" and just combine wires?

test the wire on both sides of the noise filter to see if it really is the problem

its the smaller wires that connect the speakers to the ground .. those wires ..

The Installer did do this .. and it got a green light before reaching the "resistor" and on the other side it got a red light ..

See where it says FUSE RESISTOR!!

Its a fuse. Its blown. Replace it.

yea just gotta figure out the model of the fuse and the installer at my workplace will replace it
