How to select subwoofer on on a Kenwood KDC-X911

Yesterday I bought a Kenwood KDC-X911! Very nice deck! Only thing is, I can't find 'Subwoofer on' 'Subwoofer off'. My JL Audio 500/1 won't switch on. I suppose this happens when you select 'Subwoofer on' on the KDC.

So my question is, how can I select subwoofer on?? The manual isn't clear about that.

did you connect the remote turn-on wire to your amplifier.

check your wiring.

yes! I switched the old deck for the Kenwood. With the old deck, everything worked just fine. i connected the switch cable from the amp to the pink/black cable from the KDC (Ext.cont). I suppose that is external control.

On the headunit, I can't find the menu or control to access the subwoofer to switch it on or off. So that's ws my question

Remote wires are color coded blue. Check to see if you have a blue wire in the harness not being used.

You might be right! There is a blue/white cable (P.cont) for a motor driven antenna or external amplifier. If there's no external amplifier connected, it is possible that I can't select the subwoofer to switch on?
