i have the chance to buy a ball python with its cage and everything i need for it for 100 bux, should i do it?

its 3 years old, and i think around 2 ft long, not really sure though, i havent seen it, its my moms friends daughters....

also, how hard is it to take care of them?

get it there cool as hell. mines about 3 1/2 foot now and just wrecks live mice. easiest pet to take care of i've ever had. easy to handle to. just check it for mites and or ticks before you get it. and make sure you keep the take lid on tight or it will get out!!

how do you pet that thing?????? its not soft like a dog. . . .

Dogs > All Other Pets. . . unless you have something cool like a monkey or a horse for a pet....

definitely get it! i have an green iguana now but used to have a ball python.... liked my python more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

there the easiest snake to take care of. great for beginners and at a decent price. get it. then give it to me for free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif lolzz

or go the cool way and get parrots like my mom has! she lets them fly freely around the pool and backyard where they fly over the bay, they are the best pets ever. and iris, her cockatoo could tear that snake to smithereens!

Get it.

Ours is about 3 years old now and about 4.5ft long. A small to medium sized rate once or twice a week between March to Novenmber/December and it's good to go (some ball python's rarely, if ever, eat during the mid winter months).

Make sure you do your research for proper habitat creation and care:

You'll probably hear this from other reptile owners and I'm going to state it here: DO NOT GET A HEAT ROCK. Get an under-tank heating element instead. Heat rocks can actually burn/kill your reptile since they will lay on it for extended periods of time basking.
