Replacing stock speakers

Alright a friend of mine has a 2000 or 2001 Buick Regal, and he wants his rear deck replaced. They are 6x9 speakers. I understand that I will probably have to take the whole rear deck out along with the seats, that's not the problem.

The problem is he told me there are 4 wires going to each speaker. I haven't personally saw it but I believe him. How would I go about connected new aftermarket speakers up to it if there are 4 different wires?

Something cheap. Anything really, just to clean up the sound that the crappy stock speakers output.

Focus on your front stage.

Nvm, just noticed the second half of your poast. More than likely a proprietary bose type system or whatever.
