Replacing Factory HU Question

I want to replace the factory HU in my 2002 Impala. For the time being, I want to reuse the factory installed amp and speakers . I know that Metra makes an adapter for this type of application; the model number is GMOS-04. Is this only the part i will need to make this work? Does anyone know of any Metra online dealers?

I'm not sure about Metra, but I know all [if not all, a large percent] of car's stock headunit has a harness which is soldered/butt connected to the previous wires that were plugged into the head unit and plugs into the other side which is again wired to an after-market HU.

Now, depending on the harness, you might have to get creative. I know I did. I had to run the remote turn on for my stock amp, and the harness didn't have a wire for that, so I had to figure that one out myself. But, that should be all you need.
