Hi all,

I was hoping someone could help clarify an issue I am having. I have a 2006 Silverado factory bose, the tweeter went out so I went and bought some Alpine SPR-10TW Tweeters to replace them with. I was told I did not have to hook up with filters that came along with them, so i directly spliced into the factory wires. They worked great for about 2 weeks, until today my left tweeter stopped sound output. I bought the exact same ones thinking it was blown possibly, so i replaced the existing alpines with the same model, only this time, when i plug in my left tweeter, my left door speaker stops working. Same with the right. I would like to fix this myself before I take it to my local car audio shop. Any clarifications? Thank you!
