Replacing 5300 Sub?

I've got the logitech 5300E. It puts out decently good bass for a pc setup, but the sq side is horrible on it. Does anyone think I would notice a difference by replacing the sub? Its a 6.5. Any ideas on brands/models?

NO and YES....

YES: Any speaker would be a serious upgrade over one of those type speakers.

NO: The amp would most likely be the hardcore limiting factor if you replaced the speaker. Meaning, it's prolly not nearly enough wattage and is prolly not very good quality to start off. Also, the box construction is prolly cheap and shaddy and would limit the new speaker even more.

I would say build or buy a new sub system......
