Repairing a Subwoofer

Ok I recently bought what was supposed to be a brand new Aria 12 subwoofer off a guy on ebay. When I got it the spider was falling off the basket but the cone itself was intact. So needless to say I am looking to have to subwoofer fixed without replacing the cone itself to preserve an old school classic subwoofer. Any ideas or options I could possible be left with. Thanks:fro:
