hello,

i had started a thread on here about looking for help with my amp in NC but now im looking for someone anywhere, closer to NC the better. I need 8 mosfets replaced and soldered on my mtx81000d. I would like someone that is confident in their work. I would also like to not send it to a shop because I would assume their prices would be higher. If you can help me out, and I will pay of course, then let me know by either sending me a PM or responding to the thread. thanks

You might be suprised at how reasonable shop repair rates can be. And you might end up needing more than just the parts that are burned up. When mosfets fail they don't always smoke. So you may need a lot more than you think. You might buy 8 new mosfets, have someone solder them in and then up in smoke they go again because of other bad parts.

My shop does free estimates. Will only cost you the shipping costs if you decide not to repair it.

Chris

i may take it to a shop that is local that said they can fix it for $100 unless I can find someone cheaper with a good turn around, they store said 1-2 days but id wait a little bit longer for a better price
