Well I would like some help, with (at least) where to start, with removing the stock Head Unit.
Thanks.
Thanks.
If it's that easy to steal then you might consider adding a steel strap and security screws to the HU to keep it locked down to the car so a crack head can't just pull it out.Damm these are the like the most crazy easy to pull out, grab the dash peice around the deck (goes around the gauge cluster too etc), pull towards you, should be enough room around the deck, there are 2 buttons on the side of the deck, push those down and waa--laa pull out.
Fyi, when you go to put your new deck in (if you dont have an aftermarket allready) stupid chevy use's a different size antenna plug so gotta get a converter.
Its all plastic around it, no where to really screw to that you couldn't just rip out, I would rather have the least damage if someone were to steal my deck.If it's that easy to steal then you might consider adding a steel strap and security screws to the HU to keep it locked down to the car so a crack head can't just pull it out.
