mabee its just me but why not just cut out the holes for the access holes and leave the rest on the doors?

Yeah, I had a crappy experience one weekend. Rear door latch cables stretched and the cargo door wouldnt open on my tahoe. 22 cube box in cargo area + 30 sq ft of dynamat extreme on the cargo door to pull off to get to the cables = //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif I have never been so mad.

I wish I would have just put deadening over the access holes, but I covered the access holes with flashing, covered by deadening, then by another layer of deadening. So I have to pull some deadening back to get to the screws holding the flashing on, same deal on the back wall where I had blocked off the cab vent holes. I'm leaving the deadening on most of the door and backwall...no way I'd be removing all that shit, no need to.

I just have one door left to open up the access holes. I have a ball of butyl I'm using to pick up any deadener that doesn't up clean, seems to be working good so far. Luckily none of the deadener is in an exposed spot of the interior so it doesn't have to look 100%

I smoke while I work alot, so the gas might be a bad plan...haha

Just about done, hasn't been bad really, I just like to ***** alot.
