how do i remove a crimped battery terminal? i replaced the battery in my girl's car and noticed the terminals are corroded and beat to hell. i am going to buy some new terminals today but i noticed that the crimp (whatever u call it) on the original wiring, is on pretty **** good. do i just it cut it off and start over or is there some tool or method to removing the terminal. thanks for any help.

i used a dremel to cut the end of the red\black plastic-rubber housings and slid the connectors out. then i put some new crimps on, and slid the plactic-rubber things back in place - then wrapped them in electrical tape.

use your imagination man.
