Buy them on Ebay most aren't model specific

You can purchase a new one from your local dealer. They may have to order it though. Some manufacturer's you can purchase "parts" directly from the service department though...like Pioneer I believe you can. If you go into the service/parts section of their website and search for your headunit, you be able to purchase a new remote.

Or look for them on ebay.
