remote wiring

Hi,

I have questions about the remote wiring installation.

I have Kenwood tape deck with blaupunkt equalizer and Eclipse amp.

My question is, when my tape is off, the equalizer and the amp are still on. So, you can hear the hiss sound from the speakers.

What's wrong with this?

Did I connect the remote wire correctly?

no, your amp wouldn't even turn on if the remote wire wasn't hooked up... hmm check the rca's, thats what it sounds like to me, cuz rca usually cause the road noise...

You dont have the correct remote wire running the eq, and amp. Be sure you use the blue wire with the white stripe behind the head unit.
