Remote wire

I have done a search on this and couldnt come to any conclusion. Is there any specific size wire i should use for the remote turn on wire? Thanks Mike

16-18ga is fine.

Think of wire as a hose, the bigger it is, the more it holds. Remote turn on leads uses very little amperage. You can definitely get away with 20awg.
