look in your manual and it'll tell you which one is the REM wire, the other is most likely power antenna lead. And yes, hook the REM to your amp.I have a blue, and a white and blue wire in the back of my head unit, so what yoru saying is I unhook those from my hu and hook them up to my remote wire to my amp?
If he has a DMM he can positive on which wire it is.That's why I asked him to read the manual and BE SURE.
The power antenna lead shuts off when CD's are in...NOT GOOD.My kenwood has a blue wire with a white stripe for the remote.. The other was, I believe a solid blue power antenna wire(unused in my vehicle). I believe you can use power ant if the remote wire is not present, but unsure. Just make reference to both the head unit and the amplifier manual and you can figure it out probably.

Umm, guys? I covered everything that y'all are arguing about in my first post....Depending on what type of head unit you have there should be either one or two blue wires in the harness that attaches to the rear of the deck.
If there are two one will have a stripe alongside the wire's insulation and the other will not.
I do not know if it holds true for all brands but on newer Kenwoods the one with the stripe is for amp/EQ/crossover/whatever activation and the wire without the stripe is for power antenna control.
If you have both make certain that you attach the amp's remote activation circuit to the proper blue wire as oftentimes the one meant for power antenna activation only holds current in tuner mode.
