Remote Wire Help

I was wiring my REM wire to my Panasonic CD player, and in the instructions I was reading it said the REM wire should be connected to the blue wire, well I have 2 blue wires. One has a white stripe on it though. I read somewhere that white stripe means it carries a 12v current, so is that the wire I need to tap in to?

the solid blue wire is the one you want. The one with the white stripe is the power antenna wire.

actually i think its the other way around the one with the white strip is the remote the solid blue is remote antenna

Yup, if you use the solid blue wire your amp will turn on with your radio but not the CD...
