Remote Wire for factory deck

My friends got a factory deck and we need a place to put the wire. I know you just have to tap into a 12v source for the remote wire. Whats the best way to do it? Any suggestions where i should connect the remote wire to and how?

A fuse tap would work. Pull a fuse for something in the car that only works when the ignition is on, slip the fuse tap over the end of the fuse and reinstall. Connect the remote wire to the tap and run to your amps.

I like to t-tap into the ignition turn on wire off the oem wire harness....just get a circuit tester and check which wire turns on the light tester when the ingnition is clicked on

Its a honda prelude year 2002 i wanna say. I can find out for sure though.

They didn't make a Prelude in '02.

The Honda standard since at least '86 is a yellow wire with a red stripe for the ignition switched wire to the radio.
