Remote Turn on?????

Today I tried to install my amp, so I removed the HU which is a Kenwood KDC-215s. When i looked for the remote turn on i didnt see any wire. But i did see a wire labled as ANT CONT/P. CONT...The wire was blue with a white stripe and was not connected to anything.... IS this the remote turn on wire???

 
just a little info. If you have a power antenna wire and a remote wire use the remote wire for amps being with some power antenna wires will shut off during cd use. I notice that a lot of newer decks use only 1 wire for both.

 
acc=accessory, when u turn ur key overonce or twice, or back dependent apon the car, that turns ur acc's on, u can use that wire to, since it only puts power to it when u turn ur key over, acting as a remote line to

Is there an external fuse mounted near that amp going to it? If so, make sure it is not grounding out some how. Frayed wire touching ground or...

Usually when you shop for a replacement harness for your model, you will find the pictures may show you in what pins your wires go to.

Actually, I think I had the adjustment knob turned down while I was setting gain! Rookie mistake
